Wow the blur and the timer are still there but the picture is far clearer than the workprint. No pixelation that i can see.Nice release man. Whats with the VOB files in with the sample (yes i did read the NFO).

If you read the nfo you would know its not same source, or rather the NOX was originaly from that source but through a few encodes and convertions got washed out and therefor looks like crap. Take a look in the sample dir and compare the two vob sources and you will know the diffrence. Since it doesnt seem to miss any scenes or effects I think labling it a wp wouldve been stupid, NOX probably did so because their source was messed up in the process and wouldve never have looked good enough to pass for a screener. Just my two cents

The release is a screener. It's better than the previous release.

*woot?*

Ok so the Nox VOB was in the sample folder to show the difference between the two.The word Nuke says there is something wrong with this release. This is the best release so far and people should know that.Audio is the same but the picture is far better then the workprint.Seriously nukes are handed out to the best releases for stupid reasons sometimes, just because people feel they have the power to nuke.

Ignore the Nuke people this is the one to get props to VideoCD

A video tape has a resolution of 352x240 at 29.967fps for NTSC and 352x288 at 25fps for PAL so makeing it a SVCD (480x480 at 29.967fps or 480x576 at 25fps) would just be stretching the picture with no improvment in quality. So thats why NO Screeners are released as SVCD.

This rls should not be nuked, its better quality (kind of). Shouldn't it just be a *Dupe*?

It wasn't nuked on any site that actually matters. Moving right along.

Well the reason there are rules in the scene is to help keep standards up and to make sure people get what they want. Just because it may be decent does not mean that you can just let it sliop through the cracks. I could release a ts of a movie, call it an scr, but even if it's a good ts it will be nuked, that's what rules are for.

Would be less pixels though and a tape looks fine full screen where as vcd full screen on my tv is obviously much less quality than the original tape.

hrm...uhm....shit...i just finished watching the NOX release about 20 minutes 'fore i came across this one...better by a mile...well, half a mile anyways.

i don't use topsites, so i'm really not sure where/why this got a nuke...maybe mislabled, but still...prolly won't get better till an actual screener.

NOX was totally watchable, this one will get less bitching from my friends that expect a SCR the day after release.

the movie itself was some kick ass shit for a shitty "horror" movie...blew my expectations away...

based on VideoCD's sample...

7.5/8/7.5

NOX gets a 6/8/7.5 by comparison...

either way, it's good to go...

and as for SVCD...it'd be pointless on this...if you know anything about framerates/resolution, or VHS conversion, you'll surely agree.

i hope this post will finally show.

Movie Ratings:

Picture - 7.5 (nice colors and quality the bar on the left and numbers arent that bad
Sound - 7.5 (nice and clear)
Movie - 5.8 (typical friday / freddy flick too predictable)

If your looking for a good quality release this is it great job!!!

does this by chance have the same dots in the frames as TCR release did? just curious if it in fact does have to do with tracking of which movies came where..

Video: This is the best so far..

Audio: No problems here either:

Movie: Excellent

Ok the pic is a little dark but then there are a lot off dark scenes. This foor me is the best rls of this movie that has been released.
