Hi,
if no group has released this stuff before because they focus on new movies, I don't mind having a release shortly after retail date.
DTS ripped, DTS only, DD and DTS, DD only, DVD with extras, DVD without Extras... the only perfect copy for yourself (obviously everyone has different preferences) you'll only get if you buy the movie, wait for affordable DL DVD-Rs or rip it yourself. I got a HDTV, the quality is quite ok, I've seen worse though.
I don't see too much grey jumping around but that could depend on different black levels of our TVs. The movie generally has a decent amount of noise and I guess using a transcoding tool to rip it intensifies the pixel noise even more because it just lowers the quantization matrix.
About the Audio, everyone who got a DTS Receiver wouldn't really mind DTS only releases (other than he's selling the shit or whatever). Even though the differences are minor, you'd choose the better one, if you could... that just makes sense to me. So if properly tagged (and nfofix was released very shortly after) I think it's ok to release DTS rels.
