well atm it is for recommended users, but we were going to try to make it a minimum amount of posts in order to post there, but none of the admins have enough time to impliment that since we do not have that hack.

We are trying to make it so your first post won't be in the flame section like a certain person and maybe honestly right now we do not need to hear bitching about it.

its only the person's View, x69 updated the SQL and we guess something got fucked. No we are not censoring, but since you have been gone for awhile it looks, you have not noticed the friend has come back and he has gotten like for more ISP's. So this stops users for the time from giving us a fucking headache. and yes I thought you were very nice, but this post is totally outta hand, maybe if you polietely asked first what is up with the flame section then we would of been frank but no you "jumped the fucking gun" and did not give us a chance to explain. You get responses better when being civilized and you won't loss respect that way either. But i feel your second post is complete shit. You automatically get defensive and post nonsense without giving us a chance to explain.


Also if you do have a VB hack for making a section a minimum post count inorder to post in there, we would be more that happy to take it off your hands.

[edit]PS look in the flame war section, take a look at the users who participate, look at their post count. Look at everyone that is vcdemon, we are not censoring anyone but those who are new to the board, and if you have a problem, what is the difference between that and moderation? This is Just an Idea Why dont you put a 3-8 day Waiting period on accounts Make it mandatory to sighn in before you can even browse the Forums Person Fucks up Banned Now they have to wait at least 3-8 days before then can even think about posting again..... *cries* i do my best to make this board a more friendly place and all i constantly get is criticism? why the fuck should we bother, cos nobody is EVER happy.

how many boards even allow a flaming section? its currently inactive to public due to the fact that it was abused, and ever since we took it away, the abuse has kicked down. its not gone for good, i just need to find some hacks to enable min posting. we dont censor valid viewpoints, theres no point, but when people want to post utter shit all the time, then moderation has to be used.

the rec'd users thing is an "experiment" if you will, the 10 highest posters were given a separate forum, and its up to them how it goes. they can vote in and vote out people. the reason it was the top 10 posters was due to the fact that they use the board the most, not because of any "elite" reasons. how the hell could u pick who's elite just from a few posts? its an experiment, nothing more nothing less.

anyway, whatever. why bother eh. nobody gives a fuck, they'll just find a new angle with which to criticise from. so i might's well leave this board unmoderated and show how much of a mess it would be if people didn't try their hardest to keep it under control. control != censorship, and i truly believed only those who weren't here for the right reasons would oppose this.

while i agree it will likely not change, as it is a core value i hold very high even for those i despise, i feel compelled to comment any time i see such injustice. i find it particularly offensive when it comes from a place that will damn sure hide behind that bill of rights when the rubber meets the road and someone comes at them.

i just like to allow the internet to allow anyone to show exactly how dumb or smart they are and go from there.

frankly i find it absolutly comical anyone would think i had a hack that would allow censorship considering how strong my views are on it.

i actually enjoy a spirited debate with anyone for any reason, it keeps the mind sharp. that is why i enjoy posting in flame wars, it allows you to employ all the tactics of an argument to win control of a debate. i would have to suppose the reasons minds are closed is because they are young and do not have enough experience in life to have sat back and looked at the process.

if you drive a mazda and i want you to admit bmw is a better car i have two choices. i can ask you what you like about mazda's and you will give me a pretty short list. or i can say to you that mazda's suck and evoke an emotional response from you to defend mazda's now if i do not feel i have all your reasons mazda's are good cars i can dispute several of your points in a nasty way to make you madder so you will justify your position with even more reasons.

notice i have not said a single thing about bmw yet, well now i can dispute every one of your arguments with my own with a planned out logical argument, draw you to my points, and then present my points for bmw with a calm demeanor while your still on the emotional rollarcoaster.
