the only thing that made it "different* from previous versions , is the end scene with hayden. in this rls , the at-at and at-st still are "frame by frame" and the lightsabre duels are the same as usual. I really hope they will make more changes cause seriously , so far its 99.999% the same as the digitally mastered version of 97.

anyway video 9 sound 9.5 movie 7.

i really wanna see a renewed version of ESB , which still is the best of the SW saga.

Anyone notice the spanish/mexican/portuguese or whatever the fuck it is, at the beginning of the movie? When it says "A long time ago in a galaxy, far, far away..." I see it again, but in the above mentioned languages. Wtf is that all about? The opening intro too with the story scrolling also switches to english and whatever, back n forth, and the music loops and skips like mad. Once the movie starts it's fine though.

Also I'm not seeing any subs in the Jabba part of the movie. Im only seeing this on the comp though, and since no one else is mentioning this, I guess it will probably be fine in the standalone. Maybe its some language/subtitle setting on the software player im using, who knows.

Kinda reluctant to burn this still, and no one seems to be positive if it's the real deal. Guess ill hold it until the official release is out in Sept and see if some proper gets put out.

uh, if they're gonna put Hayden Christiansen as Anakin at the end, are they gonna change the scene in which Luke de-masks Vader, cause Hayden looks nothing like that guy (david prowse i think)?

It's because the original DVD was multi-language. If you pop Episode I or II into your DVD-ROM and look at the raw video it does the same for those DVDs. It looks like whoever did the SVCD didn't bother to limit their enthusiasm to one language so it ended up catching all of them at the intro. :P

Sebastian Shaw = Anakin Skywalker (in ROTJ un-masking)
David Prowse = Body Of Darth Vader (all other parts)

They changed Shaw's eye color to match Christiansen's.
