The point is, that not everyone has a standalone that plays +R discs. This is supposed to make that possible although I've never personally had to use it.

Nice, surely beats the BoCCa on-clicker release.

Did you use a +R disc in your burner? You can't use a -R to do it.

nope didnt use any disc. i thought you can set a booktype in general, for all burns. you mean to say i have to set the booktype to dvd-rom every time i insert a dvd+r to burn??

No, I'm saying you have to have the +R/+R DL disc in the burner to change it period. This isn't a general thing. It's a specific setting for getting a standalone to read a +R disc as a DVD-Rom. The only reason to do it at all, is if you own an older standalone that can't read +R discs

Hi,

Considering the length of the movie, XPDVD have done a great job, the quality was very nice.

V - 8
A - 9

Film - overall good, but many FX looked iffy - if your going to do CGI, do them right, no use spending lots of time and money on FX if straight away they look fake - CGI course 101

You may to have update your writer's firmware before Decrypter will accept the change booktype command.

Many firmware update files come bundled with an interface which allows you to change the booktype without using DVD Decrypter.

Seek/FF issues in this rls?

?/9/7

Has anyone else noticed problems with FF/Seek?

Plays fine in VLC and WMP, but trying to advance 10 sec or minute in VLC or use the slider in WMP causes app hang. Advancing chapter by chaper works ok in WMP for awhile then ciauses app hang after the 15th or so chapter.

I thought it might be the dvd-rw I reused, but I notice the same behavior in the img.

I'm thinking maybe I should reauthor it - this is one of those movies I can see being flipped through.
