That has nothing to do with it.... if it doesn't get released to theaters outside of the USA or has a delayed release outside the USA then all we can hope for is a good Cam to come out of it... pretty much whatever is out on the street in NY is it... and lets face it.. if a fairly decent copy of something is floating around the streets in NY then they won't even bother doing another cam cause they don't want to take the risk again... as for Waist Deep.. taking into consideration that it's only opened in 1000 theaters and still managed to get to number 4 in the top 10 that's pretty good... but it is not being released outside of the USA (according to IMDB) so if all you can get is a Cam that is at least watchable be happy.. it's probably all you'll get until a screener comes around. (IMDB does show that it had a release in Canada for April 28 but I could find nothing to show it actually was)
As for this release.. only skimmed through for now... but it's not that bad for a Cam... watchable for sure (I am not a picky turd and don't mind a decent Cam, and I'm certainly not gonna go hang out at the closest "urban" cinema to see it)
Most movies with black cast, aren't bad, just some with bad scripts, like white movies with bad scripts/plots/storylines,
Either way.. the video looks very dark with grainy all over the place, audio is like it says a CAM so thats no big surprise, I've seen worse but this is watchable.. I actually saw this one in the theatre and it was very action packed and good.

Prevail dropped the ball on this one. I don't know what the rest of you are watching but what I see is an overzoomed, grainy and very dark video. Audio is okay for a cam.
well have to say movie was good cam was ok but u couldnt see there face n damn sum1 was moveing the cam THE GAME was good to bad he had to die like in the middle of the movie well came had good Acting i thought but could put more Gangsta into it he better then 50Cent
Most of the movie is at night and it is hard to tell whats going on sometimes...my lcd monitor might have something to do with that though....I would wait for a better release (my opinion/recomendation). Also very pixelated like people have allready said...funny how they dont put any of the dark scenes in the jpeg....
Sound was quite bad but its a cam...crank volume up and you can make out what is being sed
The movie was better than I thought it would be...
