The quality on this is not bad at all. It IS by far the best that is out. If you haven't seen the movie and don't plan on seeing it in theaters get this copy.

*not baseing this on a dvd screener...just quality overall*
Video: 8.5 maybe 9.
Audio 8.5

Its totally watchable and you forget about the timer once you get into the movie.

This was created by the studio to be seen. So consider yourselves lucky. Because it wasn't intended to be seen by YOU!

Well, I haven't snagged the full release, just the sample.

Like most have said, this seems to be a VHS Screener mislabeled as a DVDSCR, but I won't hold it against iMBT, as it is the best copy out, and it's out fast.

Could anyone give an exact length, as I saw this in theaters last night and it ran 130min.

FROM SAMPLE (As VHS-SCR):
Video: 8 (needs to be higher bitrate)
Audio: 9 (damned near perfect)
Movie: 10 (probably the best of the series, which has been exceptional from the get)

The video suffers from slight compression issues, obviously, since it's squeezed onto one disc, but it looked pretty good on 42in LCD through a standalone media center. Despite what others say, I don't believe this is a VHS screener.

Also as stated, there is a timer and watermark, but it doesn't distract from the movie. Even the subtitles are placed above the timer. Workprints are typically not theatrical releases and sometimes exclude scenes and/or audio. I can't recall any differences between this and the theater release.

Audio is 2 channel stereo, but atleast it sounds good. 10 times better than all these R5 releases of late.

8/8/9

By the following description, It still can be a DVDSCR. But it is probably unlikely.

From the sample:

Video: 8 (Other than the bitrate and the watermark/ticker, its great)

Audio: 9 (Great audio)

Movie: ? (Don't plan on watching)

<Scene talk snipped>

Workprint nuke is a joke also. AS others have said this is no different to many of the old VHS screeners we used to get that were tagged "SCREENER" and NEVER once got nuked for being WP.
Most people who HAVE seen WPs know there is a considerable difference in the onscreen format of the markings. A simple timer running does NOT constitute a WP. This studio has sent out many, many screeners with constant timers and TCG marked over the years.

TBH i don't care what it is or isn't all i wish is that EVERY release was treated the same and same rules applied regarding nukes and not dependant on who releases it. inter-site politics=gay

As stated, source doesn't look to be a DVDSCR (nuked)...Quality reduces a good some when I expand my player to full screen on my computer (20" widescreen lcd)...Not enough to ruin my viewing experience or warrant me to wait for a different copy to see this movie ... Haven't viewed on a TV yet.... Wish 'Grindhouse' had a copy like this come along.

Definitely the best video/audio out for this movie, even with the mentioned watermark and counter... Amazing quality for a movie out for only a couple weeks.
