Admin?

Yep, it's just been brought to our attention... People have been dispatched, weapons are being deployed and advertisers will be violated with broom handles.

In the meantime, make sure your PC is up to date and protected against this crud

The all seeing Super Eye!

just saw the same thing today. I feel pretty safe browsing vcdq so is there a way to bypass that annoying popup telling me NOT to come here? I set vcdq as a trusted site in firefox but I still get the big red screen. anyone know how to make it stop?

Well said. I hadn't thought about it that way before. But they do give you a tiny link at the bottom right corner to click if you want to bypass their warning. lol.

Thats is because FF actually has good anti phishing software, there was a big virus going around that legitimate sites are being infected with. I am getting the same errors but I feel pretty safe with adblock+ script blocker, and Symantec Corporate.

Give it a few days when the bad ads are removed the warning can be appealed.

The One, The Only

This error seems to be only occurring in the browsers with ABP or a variant installed (Firefox and Chrome). Most likely from an add that showed on the site, the site is clean and we will do what we can to eliminate the problem, but until then, just ignore the error.

EDIT: merged the multiple threads about this into one.

It's form an option you have selected in Firefox that uses a google database of sites that have been reported for malware.

You can remove this check by:

Tools -> Options -> Security

Tell me if the site I'm visiting is a suspected attack site
Tell me if the site I'm visiting is a suspected forgery

Those two options can cause this. So those complaining google or firefox can control your browsing, it's definitely upon your choice of options in the browser that depends on this.

This site may harm your computer

Google search for vcd quality reveals a warning in the google results. This site may harm your computer, and then under detaled results:

What happened when Google visited this site?

Of the 2 pages we tested on the site over the past 90 days, 1 page(s) resulted in malicious software being downloaded and installed without user consent. The last time Google visited this site was on 10/03/2008, and the last time suspicious content was found on this site was on 10/03/2008.

Whats up with that.
