I was hungry earlier and found a can of vegetable chilli which I foolishly decided to heat up and eat. It looked just like dog food but I still tried to eat it. I got 3 mouthfuls into it and nearly puked.
As for flying, I was a late starter. I'd always prioritised drinking locally against saving for a holiday until my early 20s. After that I decided to expand and have since been to New Jersey and New York (same trip - I just travelled to NY to see Looter), Greece, Ireland, Amsterdam, Spain, Czech Republic, Germany and France (yeah, I know the last two could be done via train or car). Not exactly travelling the world but I'm glad I did it.
Walking out of Penn Station and looking up at the skyscrapers is great. Travelling through Prague and admiring the architecture is awesome (it really is an amazing place). Getting pissed in Dublin is cool.
The same applies to the other locations. Everywhere has it's sweet spot/thang and, if you can find it, you'll regret not going sooner.
Diversify you ignorant fucks! I consider myself under-travelled compared to some people I know.
