I think Jingo's thought process went like mine recently has when deciding which console to get.
Bearing in mind that I have a Wii that is chipped/modded/hacked to fuckery to the point that I can load ISOs from vinyl I wanted a PS3 or 360:
- Are there any major differences in the graphics? Not really. PS3 might have the edge by 2053 once developers bend their head around the fucker.
- Can you mod a PS3? No. Can you mod a 360? Yes
- Which is the cheapest? 360
Hmmmm... Which console do you think I'm getting in a week or two?

Yay the PS3. #8 of the the top 21 Tech fuckups in 06 for being late , overpriced and incompatible. Meanwhile sony continues to report billions in loss.
Are they still making games for it?
I want a PS3 but I'll wait until it's priced what it's worth. $50.
Fallout 3 is fucking awesome. Modern warfare is better than WaW, imo.
Have yet to try FEAR 2 but have heard good things.
Fallout 3 is amazing, great mix of snarky humor and varied gameplay (I hear it's too much like oblivion, but I never played oblivion so a lot of the style was 'new' to me).

Being similar to Oblivion is a big plus and as Bethesda's new big title, its what peaked my interest. Its revolutionary as a go anywhere do anything kind of game.
No you need the hard drive. Trust me. There are loads of demos and games to download, and you can install your 360 games to the hard drive, which means quicker load times and no noise from the disk drive.
I won't be downloading any demo's or additional content and I can live with the disc load times. If I find I need one I will add one to it, but for now, its everything I need.
