I watched this release on my old pioneer dvd player and the sound and picture were just fine, other than the known issue of the beginning of the movie being just slightly cut off.

Other than that, only complaints were that since the subs were cropped, so were the english translations of some of the foreign languages spoken in the film, but there aren't too many of these and it doesn't ruin the whole thing.
