Does it? I see a difference in color, but in quality?

Dont go by those pics, pretty bad comparison.

The Diamond one is a bit darker, but for the better, the Legacy is kinda glarry in light scenes, the colour looks wrong, and its much blurrier than the Diamond one, its also got a shit load of Cig Burns too.

The sample comparison with this shows this well.

I have watched both now.

I would go for the dmd rls too.
It looks much darker on the pics. But in fact the legacy rls is just (by far) too bright.
Maybe the dmd rls is a bit too dark.

Plus if it is that bright on a PC moniter, on a TV it would be too bright. At least on mine anyways. It's just the way my moniter is, as well as most i've seen. They are just darker than TV's usually are.

As for release

V-9
S-9
M-....7-8....not as WHOA as the original. But still twitchable to.

As i said dont go by jpg's they are almost always misleading, when you see the two side by side, this one is far superior, although the AR is way off on both releases though.

encoding software is the equivalent of The 404 going on a diet and walking thru the door. takes longer and sometimes more skill, but ultimately worth it.
