As long as it's not Uwe Boll the movie has a chance. Zombie filmed some cut-aways for the new Tarantino/Avary flick/s, Grindhouse. And Trejo is in the new Halloween. Maybe Zombie's falling in with the right crowd.
But, I guess like most other people, Halloween III was the one after which I lost any interest...the ones I've seen all merge into each other after that. H20 sparked some interest in me...and then after watching it I remembered why I'd given up. The original is a cinema classic though, and the sequel aint half bad either.
Friday the 13th...didn't really do it for me. The first was an average slasher flick, below the quality of many gialli made by Brava, Argento, Fulci and the like, and the rest...well, I can't call them all shit as I've only seen a couple, but I'd be surprised if they were anything else.
The Elm Street movies were the ones that kept their flavour longest. The first two creeped me out and the next two were watchable. Slipped by the time they got to #5, but it was a good run.
