Need Bummed?

Use the stairmaster instead, excellent cardio workout from it and less stress on the legs than running.

thanks, but i would rather go for a run outdoors (i find running boring, and doing any sort of cardio indoors, even if it involves a cycling machine will get me bored very quickly)

Need Bummed?

Few questions for ya.
Have you just started running? are you doing any warmup or stretches? Are you running uphill when you set off before you get the burn?

That might be shin splints (basically it's little splinters coming off the bone) try changing your trainers for more appropriate 1's

Don't get your xxxl knickers in a twist para. I wasn't trolling - i was merely pointing out that advice on exercising from a morbidly obese person, such as yourself, is akin to Gary Glitter giving advice on looking after young children.
